2021 Index of Economic Freedom: Spain

I realised recently that the 2021 ranking is here:

It surprises me that Spain has increased 3 points, and passed to the 39th place (last year it was on the 58th place).

This is weird. Since the socialists took power a couple of years ago, they have taken all kinds of anti-freedom measures to screw the economy. They are destroying the GDP, the jobs, they come here and then with new absurd taxes, and there is zero legal security and zero respect for private property (i.e. people are squatting houses like they want, with the government looking the other way).

I don’t know how they measure the economic freedom, but it puzzles me.
