This 2A thing is real simple. It was created with the understanding that in order to preserve democracy the average person would need tools to defend themselves from tyranny. The argument that gets made is not about eliminating guns in the country completely. Rather, it’s about the government deciding who should have access and under what terms they dictate in complete opposition to the spirit of 2A.

Want to ask for my guns? Have my local police department turn over all their rifles and SWAT gear. Turn over those MRAPs, drones and surveillance equipment and that MAYBE we can start to talk about my gear.
