Advice on what to do

I used to say I was more in the middle when people asked me about my political beliefs (fiscally conservative and socially liberal) but I’m finding more and more that the left is leaving freedom out of the equation and becoming more authoritarian. I’m consistently getting more concerned about leftist ideology. Their tyrannical culture is everywhere now and I just feel so dejected. Is there somewhere I can go or something I can do to actually effect change or at least feel a little less trapped?
