I’m really confused by this sub. Why is it called Libertarian when the people in here commenting and posting would appear to be Marxist?
I came here to find like minded people who understand and can debate libertarian philosophy. What I found was a hot bed of Marxists butchering definitions and advocating for an oligarchy to control the state.
Libertarian philosophy is simple, self ownership and the NAP.
Any philosophy that advocates using force to do anything beyond protecting individual rights stands in stark opposition to libertarian philosophy.
If the markets are regulated in any way it will give rise to an oligarchy as those who are regulated pay the writers of those regulations to shape them to their advantage at the expense of individual rights.
