I’m sick of the stereotype of “never ask a man his salary”

Many people don’t understand that employers started the whole “salaries are a private thing”. If more of us talked about them openly, we could demand better pay without needing things like unions that take a decent portion of our pay checks. It is a bargaining point for getting jobs.
