[On Individualism] How does the current ethical egoism we operate under promote selfishness but not foolishness if the rich keep getting richer from the profiting off of the lower members of society?
Is letting the rich and born rich (privileged), continually profit from the lesser members of society, really ethical?
I think is has become foolishness at this point. What’s the point of individuality if the individuals self-interests make millions of other individuals suffer over generations without a far chance in this rat race programmed to let the ones ahead keep gaining milestones over us at an accelerating rate. We’re all headed towards a progress trap.
