Recent events in my country (The U.S.) have caused me to have some serious concerns about the future of our civil liberties.
I feel in recent times in the U.S. the democrat and republicans have become increasingly more authoritarian in policy making by strengthening the executive branch and choking out non radical 3rd parties. Lately I feel bureaucrats and high ranking company executives have been silencing other beliefs by using the guise of hate speech or accusing them of “supporting violence”. I believe lately people have been abusing this “supporting violence” claim to harass people that even slightly disagree with you by calling you an extremist or terrorist.
Ive made this post because of my concern in our governments recent action to fight “Domestic terrorism” in which I see is a blatant breech to our bill of rights since there no terrorist in this country. It makes me feel that libertarians aren’t doing enough to protect our own civil liberties that we have so endored for ages.
Let me know what you guys think about this
