Does anyone else hope authoritarianism ramps up quickly so that ignorant people awaken?

I’m not wishing for violence but in my view the faster that chaos and authoritarian initiatives occur in the Biden/Big Tech regime, the more likely that people will actually stand against it.

If it slowly creeps up on us the more likely that people remain apathetic and either hope it will turn around or totally give up. Which is why I’m surprised they’ve already started unfairly blacklisting people and companies. They’re creating dissidents.

Does anyone think that the Biden administration will be more mild than the going assumption? Am I being too pessimistic?
